Project Description
Grace United Methodist Church was established in 1797 and continues to be one of the most prestigious churches in North Carolina today. The congregation touches the community through many outreach aspects and helps to advocate for spiritual growth for all. Having renovated and rebuilt after several fires, and withstood the Civil War, the church remains to be a force within eastern North Carolina.
After sustaining damage from Hurricane Florence, Bordeaux partnered with Grace United Methodist Church to help repair the building. Nearly every section of the church required restoration from water infiltration. After finding each leak in the church, we also repaired and restored the plaster, which required the interior to be fully scaffolded. New flooring and paint were added and Grace Church is able to worship in a safe and fully renovated facility.
