This project consisted of an 100,000sf extensive interior renovation and exterior facade repair and upgrade of the existing four-story masonry law school and law library. The renovation scope consisted of complete HVAC upgrade of equipment, piping and ductwork, interior floor and ceiling finishes, new bathroom and hard tile, upgrades of classroom and courtroom seating and technology, voice and data throughout the renovation. The renovation included a new mechanical equipment penthouse over the new building roof without compromising the weather tightness warranty.

The life safety and fire sprinkler systems were improved to meet new code requirements. The Underground steam tunnel feeding the project was removed and replaced with a pre-insulated streamline and condensate line.

The 2nd phase of the project consisted of a new 25,000sf law office, assembly hall and student lounge area. Construction of the new facility was immediately adjacent to the existing four-story building which resulted in extensive foundation re-mediation including soil nailing and foundation anchoring.

Without reservation, I state that Bordeaux Construction produced a quality product. I was particularly impressed by their willingness to engage me in continuous conversations regarding unique elements towards the completion of the project.
