This new, 290,000 SF school, a Bordeaux/Moseley collaboration, is currently under construction, and is scheduled to be complete in Summer of 2027. It will accommodate 2,312 students: 1,562 in middle school (MS), and 750 in elementary school (ES). In addition to the 78 classrooms, the scope includes space for administration, a kitchen, and separate ES/MS dining rooms and gymnasiums. The MS wing has classrooms for arts, health, and a STEM lab. The site will also provide parking, onsite queuing, an ES/MS courtyard, multipurpose field, baseball/softball field, and playground.

The 30-acre, coastal site presented a challenge with its soft, blue clay soil extending 10-20 feet below subgrade. To ensure safety and longevity of the future school, the field team compacted the land by importing an over 300,000 cubic yards of dirt, equating to 20,000 truckloads. Once completed, the surcharge was equivalent to the weight of the future building, and remained for three months. As an advantage of Alternative Delivery, Bordeaux was able to begin sitework while the building design was still being finalized, ensuring that the surcharge process did not impact schedule.
