The new two story, 80,000sf building includes state-of-the-art equipment and instructional and classroom support. The facility will house offices, a multipurpose room, 75-seat lecture hall, support spaces, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. A new firing range and Forensic Crime Scene laboratory will support law enforcement training. Construction includes a two-story steel frame structure with slab-on-grade, metal stud and concrete masonry unit interior partition walls, brick and precast cavity wall exterior walls, and a membrane roof system over rigid insulation, metal deck and steel bar joist roof construction. Site work includes construction of a 400 space parking lot, sidewalks, and associated site work on a 7 acre site.

The College was fortunate to have a contractor with Bordeaux’s experience. The quality of the workmanship was first-rate while maintaining an adherence to the project schedule. The community and the students are still benefiting from the application of their expertise.
