The Granville Medical Office Building (Granville MOB) is owned by the Granville Health System and is in Oxford, NC. The project was a new ground up, 2-story building with associated site, landscaping and parking lot. The building was a total of 24,000 sf, with the 1st floor being finished (12,000 sf) and the 2nd floor unfinished. The construction consisted of a concrete slab on grade, with structural steel and masonry structure. The exterior is a combination of split face CMU, brick and curtain wall. It has a flat TPO roof. The interior finishes consist of LVT and carpet, millwork with solid surface tops, painted gypsum board walls, wood doors, and a monumental stair consisting of stainless steel and glass.

From the very start of construction, BCC’s team brought professionalism, construction knowledge, dedication to quality, organization, and a team mentality to the project. Three items that Bordeaux brought to the project that stand out for me are: BCC’s organization and communication with design team, as well as the owner; BCC’s openness and inclusivity of my construction administrator; BCC’s approach to the resolution of conflict, in addition to their professionalism and team approach to construction.
