The Fuller Magnet Elementary School is a new Gifted & Talented Magnet Elementary School located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is a modern, state-of-the-art educational facility that meets the unique needs of elementary school students. The new school was a full replacement of the original school on the same site. The original school was a collection of buildings constructed between 1960 and the early 2000’s. The project involved the complete hazardous material abatement and demolition of the original school, followed by the construction of a new, two-story facility with a total area of approximately 107,000 square feet. The school includes classrooms with shared learning commons, a media center, art and music rooms, a full dance studio, a cafeteria dividable to serve as a multipurpose room with a gym and stage, as well as administrative offices, outdoor learning areas, and playgrounds.
The school is designed to accommodate up to 800 students, with a focus on providing a safe and comfortable learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence. The school’s design also incorporates sustainable building practices, including energy-efficient systems and environmentally-friendly materials, to reduce the school’s carbon footprint and operating costs.
The new Fuller Elementary School is expected to have a significant impact on the local community, providing a world-class educational facility that will support the growth and development of young learners in Raleigh. The school will create job opportunities during the construction phase and provide quality education and learning opportunities for years to come.
Bordeaux did an exceptional job during all aspects and phases of this project. The success of this project was due to your outstanding leadership, hard work, and commitment to deliver us a high-quality school.
