The New Hanover County 1923 Courthouse is a Glazed terra-cotta and limestone structure that originally served as the primary annex for the historic courthouse. Bordeaux Construction was engaged to restore the façade, which required full scaffolding in order to clean the exterior, remove and replace all masonry mortar, perform substantial terracotta patching, and repair and paint wood windows.
The quality of the restoration will contribute to the historical buildings survival for another century.
