As the Director of Safety at Bordeaux Construction, I believe my work significantly impacts not only our employees and subcontractors but also their families. Our Safety Program enforces policies and procedures to ensure every site is hazard-free, thoroughly investigates accidents, and provides monthly training to keep safety a priority. My daily goal is to ensure that the families of our employees and subcontractors see their loved ones walk through the door safely every night.Scotty Edwards

Our belief in fostering real-world skills extends to our local academic community. Our internship program brings in folks from colleges all over the state. We work with NC State to facilitate senior projects that take students from job planning to estimating to pitching large-scale construction projects. Regardless of where grads go next, we’re happy to be part of their career trajectories.
