Project Description
The New Hanover County ABC HQ is a new, 30,000 sf facility serving as offices of the NHC ABC Board as well as the distribution hub for the entire county. The facility is a blend of conventional steel and pre-engineered structure. The pre-engineered warehouse is 20,000 sf complete with loading docks, secure caging storage, and a super-flat concrete slab for staging and storage of product.
The 10,000 sf conventional steel structure hosts office and conference areas separated with interior storefront barriers providing an open feel. There is also 2,000 of interior sales and staging areas. The building façade blends four different types of metal wall panels including formed and insulated panels for a state of the art appearance. The fully-developed 13 acre site includes security fencing around the loading area with automatic gates controlled by a card-access system.
